Book Review Policy

IMPORTANT NOTICE:
This year, there are some changes in the review process. From now on all the books will be rated from points 1 to 4…where 1 = bad, 2 = fair, 3 = good, 4 = excellent.
What are some of the points that would get you 4 points?
– Original plot
– Strong characters
– Perfect grammar

What are some of the points that would make a book be rated as a 1?
– Generic Storyline
– Female characters who have no character description other than being pretty, sweet, innocent and beautiful.
– Horrendous editing errors
PLEASE NOTE: PAID REVIEWS MEANS PAYMENT OF THE TIME TAKEN TO READ AND TO SHOWCASE THE REVIEW ON THIS BLOG. UNDER NO CIRCUMSTANCE CAN THE AUTHOR DICTATE THE REVIEW OR HAVE ANY SAY IN THE FINAL RATING.

Thereandtheir.comΒ is an independent entity and in no way related to any other publishing house in any way. The views expressed here are my (Dhwani Swadia’s) own and should not be construed to be of any other entity’s.

Also, in order to maintain professional integrity, I would not be able to review any books that have been published by the Publishing House I (Dhwani Swadia) work with.

Book Review Program:

To get your book reviewed, fill this form.

Just FYI, if you do send in a book for a review, please make sure you are ready for HONEST reviews.

Please do not give me a time limit as I like to actually READ the book before reviewing, it might take a day or months. I do not know. But one thing is certain, the review will come up only after I have finished reading the book.

I do not charge for reviews.

  2. Dhwani, I love your blog. All your book reviews are very informative and well written. Plus the posts you’ve written about women issues are equally exemplary. Keep going dear.
BTW How fast are in your reading skills..

  3. I’m pretty sure you get a lot of these, but I’ve nominated you for the Versatile Blogger award. Your blog is just awesome. I especially love everything you write about feminism!
